Pittie Girl
Female
Location: Inland Empire, California
This sweet girl was found living in a park.  The family that found her took her home, but Pit Bulls aren't allowed in their home so she has to "stow-away" secretly in their backyard.  She's a nice girl, dog friendly.  They won't be able to keep her for long.  Please contact cherylmeyer@hotmail.com for more details.

POWDER
Male
8 months old
Location: Corvallis, OR

Powder  is at Heartland Humane Society in Corvallis (541-757-9000).  He is an 8 month old, deaf Pit Bull mix.  He was relinquished to the HHS because his family's landlord wont allow Pitties.  They've don their behavioral evaluation on him again and he did pass but given that he's now a juvenile with special needs, he might be more than the average adopter is prepared to deal with.  He has a lot of energy but we haven't seen any aggression of any kind.  He can hear high pitched noisesHe really likes people.  He has had very little training.  He does know a few hand signs but sometime he's so excited that he doesn't notice them - so he needs to learn how to focus.  He is jumpy and will body slam people - he REALLY wants to play.  No food aggression or possesion aggression.  He's really good with other dogs.   The girl who surrendered him said that he's housetrained - he did live with an infant and she said he was good with it.  He likes rope toys .
